I just chambered my AI AXMC in 33XC to participate in ELR matches. I already own an atlas bipod but everyone in KO1M type ELR matches seem to be recommending Accu Tac HD with ski feet. Phoenix type bipods are banned in ELR matches now.
How much diff will it make to recoil and ability to see misses/hits if I change from atlas to Accu Tac HD with ski feet, in your opinion? Does it make a significant difference or only marginal? I am primarily interested in recoil and ability to spot misses/hits.

I bought an Accuracy International AICS 1.5 long action chassis (Non folding) online recently and I'm looking to build it out using a Bergara Wilderness B14 HMR in .300 win mag with the 26 inch barrel. As far as I know the B14 uses a Remington 700 pattern action. Will this action and barrel fit into this chassis? If not what would you guys recommend with a budget of around $1200?
My second question is regarding AICS AW magazines. I saw a post on Reddit saying that you need to cut your action in order to use AICS AW magazines is this true? What does cutting your action entail, and is there a magazine that will work without modification for the Bergara that I am looking at? The Bergara from factory takes AICS pattern magazines so I was assuming that as long as the action is inside a chassis system like the AICS 1.5 that the AW mags would run no problem.
I will insert some pictures of the chassis that I will be using as well as the Bergara and the magazines I was looking at.

Looking to buy a fat boy elevate 3 section tripod. Have been told they sell the best tripod on the market but haven’t found any good deals on them.

Reading through a certain thread on here, a lot of folks including myself seem to want AW mags that would be compatible for a 223 cartridge. Why hasn’t anyone with a 3D printer prototyped something like that as there seems to be a lot of interest in something like that.

Would it be easier to develop an insert for an existing AW mag body similar to what MDT does for their 223mags? A whole unibody, printed magazine? I know @Tyler Kemp is the print god. Maybe he could do something like that?

Thinking out loud here as it would be cool to have that option as AICS mags are lame.
