I bought a hornady o.a.l. Gauge and ogive gauge. According to the hornady direction, a normal hunting rifle's bullet needs to be seaTed .02-.04 off the lands and to be closer than .02 is getting dangerious. Do you guys have any other suggestion, or is that correct?

i have a savage 10FP and i inleted the stock for a Vbull dbm setup. after i inletted the stock the action bolt are too long. I have bought some different fasteners that have the right threads but not quite the right heads. where do you guys buy your fasteners?!?!? i really don't want to grind or...
