    Gunsmithing Go gauge question

    From what I can tell, go no-go gauges fit families of cartridges. Do you use the same set of gauges for .243 Win, 260 Rem, .308 Win? My manual shows specs for the bottom of the shoulder as exactly the same but the top of the shoulder has a different length for each.

    I've got these two Rem 700 triggers. I'm pretty sure the left-side one is an adjustable X-Mark. I'm not sure about the one on the right, which is non-adjustable. Are there variations in the X-Mark line. Pic #1 Pic #2 Pic #3

    Re: Clearcoat over krylon? The Krylon I used was indoor outdoor acrylic. Directions say to clean with mineral spirits. Dunno if water based or oil based.
