Just wondering if anyone knows who makes the tubes for the 98B? I know on the 82 and the 107 that both Kreiger and Feddersen make the actual tubes. You can tell by looking at the id numbers when the upper and lower are separted. Any info greatly appreciated.

i personally would recommend the stiller dbm. i have not had good luck sourcing stuff from these guys from hs. i live pretty close by and cant give you any stronger rec than lookmelsewhere.

Re: 300 rum build Mcmillan uses a schneider poly rifled tube on the EOL series rifles I believe. They are proven shooters. For a 1 mile gun though personally I would do a 338. Check kirby allens stuff out.

Re: What contour barrel is on the Sako TRG-22 It's their own contour. You would have to have a custom contour to be even close.

Re: Barrel question Personal recommendation, if you want a lighter carry rifle in 6.5 do a 4 contour, If you are after a longrange outfit consider 5 or 6 fluted. .75 muzzle in most tapers will bust your 8lb weight limit in 6.5mm.
