Just wondering if the duplex reticle is the thing of the past. I got the Nikon Tactical scope with Niko-plex and it's very nice, but too bad it does not have mildot or the other fancy stuff. I'm thinking if I should sell it/trade it for another scope that has mildot or BDC scales, etc. But the...
Waiting on a quote back from USO for the SN3 I'm wanting to buy and was wondering if the entire reticle is illuminated? A pic would be AWESOME Thanks, Jake
title says it all. which is the easiest reticle to use for range finding. i tried to search for the topic but couldn't find anything. just curious what people think is the easiest to range w/
I was wondering if anyone else has had a scope that has turrets that dont appear level with the reticle. It seems when I make an adjustment that the reticle moves correctly, but using a level to mount the scope to the base, it is always wrong. I had to eyeball it to get it mounted right.
I think I might be leaning toward the USO Canada Mil reticle. What would be the down side of this. After using my NPR1 reticle to try to range at far distances I think I would like the 1/5 mil hash marks available on the reticle. Thanks, Steve
I was thinking of a premier or a USO but am looking into Nightforce scopes now as well. It looks like they have a pretty good choice of reticles, but it doesn't look like maybe they are as good as what you can get on a premier or a USO. Which one is the preferred reticle design on one of the...
Has anyone used the FC-2 reticle on the NXS 1-4x for hold over snap shots with AR15? Original manual from NXS 1-4x : "The triangular aiming point under the circle can be used as a 10 M.O.A. holdover point from the center dot, and as a ranging tool in combination with the circle and dot." so...
I have a leupold mk 4 6.5-20 and had been thinking of just selling it and buying a new scope because if i cant have a ffp i at least want the the reticle to match the turrets. Is it possible to have a moa reticle put in this scope, and if so who would be the best to do it? Thanks Ubet
I know Zeiss makes eyepieces that have reticles for their scopes. I know that the Kowa 821 is probably one of the most popular spotters used in the shooting community. Will any of the optics outfits modify one of the Kowa eyepieces to accommdoate a reticle?
I just purchased a used Nikon Tactical 4-16-50 from a member here. Does anyone have the reticle spec for this reticle? I think it is mildot with hash mark in between. Is it just regular US Army mildot with hash at .5? I appreciate your help. Thanks, 45
I just bought a Remington 700 PSS that I need to be a general purpose bolt gun, for hunting as well as (god forbid) tactical (SHTF) use. I am a newbie to precision rifles but have plenty of trigger time on ARs and other tactical rifles with ACOGs and other magnified optics, but all the CQB...
I have the Kahles and Swaro with TDS, but they are damn near impossible to find, I need another scope with BDC for another lightweight rig being put together for a friend. I have been wanting to try out the Rapid Z, I am sure the reticle does fine, but hows the glass stack up clarity and light...
At the request of Kirkpatrick Guns and Ammo we are working on a limited run of Hensoldt 4-16's with Horus H37 reticles. I have included Mike’s original post below: http://www.snipershide.com/forum/ubbthre...rue#Post1150548 <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Originally Posted...
How does the v-plex reticle compare to other manufacturers reticles? I have a 4-12x40 and the reticle seems thicker than my Sightron Bigsky and even it is larger than I like. I was just wondering if anybody uses the v-plex for target shooting and how well it does. Maybe my technique needs to...
I bought a Shmidt and Bender PMII 3x12 with a 50mm objective lens that was assembled by Premier Reticles. On my scope the reticle jumps as I move throughout the magnification levels. Take a look at your own scopes to see if yours does the same thing. While looking through your scope move...
Is there a consensus on which reticle is "better" with MIL knobs? I'm kind of leaning toward the ML16. Where's a good place to purchase one? I've been checking RWS periodically but they're always out-of-stock. Mike
