Accessories Give away. Sti magazine

My buddy sold his STI a couple of years ago. He found this mag the other day and gave it to me.

I'm giving this mag away and only ask for $7 to ship it. I will not be able to ship until next weekend.

I'm looking for the first person to post a pic of their pistol that is compatible with the magazine and their username on a piece of paper beside it.

I will add, I don't know much about these or 2011's so I honestly have no idea how much this thing is worth.

Weigh in on my next coyote rifle build

I’m in the beginning stages of building/assembling my next coyote specific rifle. I do prefer bolt action rifles, but I would surely consider an AR platform, the weight was always what turned me off to ARs for hunting. 95% of my hunting is done at night so a “dead right there” caliber would be preferred. Where I hunt, I seriously doubt I will ever shoot more than 250 yards, its just not possible. I also need a threaded barrel… lastly, I’d prefer not to blow them into smithereens, I like to keep the nicer furs

Currently in shoot a 223 savage axis, VERY accurate, but it’s isn’t threaded, I hate the Oryx chassis and there isn’t much aftermarket accessories available for the Axis line. With the 223 I’ve had a handful of coyotes make it 150 yards before dying which was a pain in the rear at night to find in tall grass.

Let me know what you guys are shooting.

SOLD Tac Ops X-Ray 51

Tac Ops X-Ray 51
21.5” Barrel
Win .308

$4800

Cashiers check, USPS Money Orders, or direct transfers.

EDIT: Many have asked about the threading for a suppressor, it is: 9/16-24

*** New information added ***

I tried to find a bore scope that would fit but none are small enough to work. Consequently, I will be retaking pictures of the barrel in hopes of better pictures of the throat and bore. I have also learned my brother shot a few boxes of Federal Match King 168gr through the gun while house-sitting. This fact was not revealed until he read my ad listing and revealed to me that he had shot it. I want to be clear that it has been fired, but not much.

I have added a postcard with my screen name and today’s date for those concerned about the legitimacy of the rifle for sale. The picture is full size to allow full zoom.

Purchased in as new condition from fellow SH member dark_mirror about 10-12 years ago. The rifle has fired approximately 40 rounds and stored in humidity controlled safe. Will take more pics if requested and happy to speak to a seriously interested individual. Rifle has 21.5” barrel and comes with Pelican 1750 rolling case in tan, unused Birdsong green scope rings, reamer, bipod, stock storage pouch as pictured. A stellar rifle from a legendary company.

I have one sale on this site and three firearm purchases. Additionally, I have extensive references available from high-end transactions of my professional recording studio equipment. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Located in the metropolitan Oklahoma City area.

260 Vs. 6.5 Creedmore

Thinking about getting a Seekins HIT rifle in either 260 or 6.5 Creedmore. Would be shooting PRS out to 1000 yards. Which cartridge is easier to develop accurate loads for? Leaning towards the 260 because I have a lot of 308 brass. Yes, I would buy brass for either, but if things ever get crazy having the ability to make 260 brass would be nice.

First Build and Critiques

I'm right in the beginning stages of my first competition build. I have been praciting with an off-the-shelf rifle in 6.5CM for the past 3 years. Now wanting to move to a more competative setup and cartridge. I am a reloader BTW. I have a list below of everything I have planned out. But I am open to any critiquing needed to better this build. I already ordered up the barreled action, which is about 5 months out, but it's not too late to make changes as I wait in the lineup. I welcome all suggestions. Thank you all!

Kelbley's Prometheus Action
Chambered in 6XC
Krieger 26" Stainless Heavy Varmint in 1:7.5 Twist
Triggertech Diamond 2 Stage with Flat Trigger Shoe
Manners PRS-TCS Stock with Manners Mini Chassis
Atlas PSR with Area 419 Arca Clamp
Scope: Undecided
Scope Base and Rings: Undecided
Muzzle Brake: Undecided

WTF is it with a certain demographic that can't resist stealing a cell phone?

He's got it all, a DEI hire as a cop, white sluts to go clubbing with, but just can't resist stealing a cell phone, on camera, then tries to outsmart the honest cops that confront him about it by twisting up a bunch of BS and gets tased.

Then he reverts back to full ghetto and uses his race card, hurling racial slurs and saying the white cops are just arresting him because he's "a black mf'r."

Firearms WTT: Colt Python Combat Elite

I just picked this up on Friday but am having some remorse as I still realllly want a new coyote barreled action. That said if no bites, I will HAPPILY keep it.

Many don't know this firearm even exists.

This is a pretty rare firearm right now. a Colt Python Combat Elite. Specs as follows:

3" Barrel
Unfluted Cylinder with chamfer
Night sight
Gorgeous Grips
I'm told the smoothest of the smooth triggers. I wouldn't know as I haven't pulled it.

This gun has not been fired or even had rounds placed in cylinder. Has not been spun, hollywood closed. NOTHING. I pulled it out of the bag at my FFL with my own hands and only polished lightly with a micro fiber before placing it back in the box. Reopened for pictures and here I am.

Value? Don't care. It's whatever you value it at... I want to trade this for a barreled action with a carbon fiber barrel. Prefer a nice 223 lightweight shorty, but open to others if you are interested in this gun.

Will ship with full insurance

3-9x scope for my 8 year old (under $300)

My oldest son is getting into shooting. He just finished up a season of 5 m bb shooting and 22lr is the next season. They have weight requirements for the rifles with optic (less than 8.5 lbs). The scope has to be a variable optic and weight is a premium consideration.

I have a CZ 457 that he will be using and the rifle is in a mdt chassis so that length of pull isn’t a problem. What scope and rings under $300 for a new shooter? Distances will be 100 yards and less.

SOLD Price drop Nightforce NXS 2.5-10 mil-r

Looking to sell my NXS 2.5-10 with mil-r reticle in minty condition and Geissele extended mount. Also comes with two reptilia piggyback top rings for RMR, one 45 offset and one 90 degree, both have been slightly modified to fit with the short tube and bell of the scope. Asking $1800 shipped for the whole setup, only trade i would consider at this time is for a zeiss S3 6-36 mil, or *maybe* a ZCO 4-20 MPCT3x with cash on my end. Fantastic SPR/DMR option, nice and light, great glass, good reticle, and a side focus.

Going Away from 6 ARC Suppressed?

Ever since I got a 6 ARC upper, I’ve shot it suppressed. Even with the AGB, I feel it’s a gassy SOB.

Primary use will be range toy/some hunting. I’m considering just shooting my bolt rifles with the suppressor and either braking my 6 ARC or having no muzzle device.

Anyone not running a can on their AR platform? Prefer a brake or no attachment?

Die Scratching Brass

Looks like the inside of my die started scratching my brass when sizing. Not sure how the die got scratched inside. I clean my brass prior to sizing. I tried cleaning the inside of the die with a nylon brush but it didn’t do anything.

Whidden die for reference. Am I going to have to buy another die?
