Picked up by FedEx in Pittsboro, NC to go back to Vudoo for testing but FedEx never scanned it in. Thought maybe they lost it at first to give them the benefit of the doubt but then the same driver claims he came 4 days in a row after he already picked it up but it wasn't ready. Which is not true, we were home. It was ready the first day he came and that was the last it was seen. It was in the Vudoo box and has a 22" black MTU barrel and the medium bolt. All black. Barreled action only, no chassis. Reported to Police, Fed Ex and it is in the NCIC database as stolen. Vudoo also engaged the ATF. Serial is T3932. Please notify police if you come across it or see someone trying to sell it.

It appears the government is preying on the weak as a show of force. They last guy they raided was murdered as well!



A family is desperately seeking answers after FBI agents busted down the door and killed their relative in a pre-dawn raid last week.

The FBI is refusing to tell a grieving mother why they showed up in armored vehicles at 6 am last Wednesday and fatally shot her son.

According to WBBJ, FBI agents showed up at a residence in Henderson, Tennessee to serve a man named Theodore Deschler an arrest warrant when things turned deadly.


A neighbor told WBBJ he woke up at 6 am after he heard a loud bang.


“I was woken up at about six o’clock this morning. I heard a loud bang. Then I heard a couple more. I heard the loudspeakers, ‘Come out with your hands up. We’re the FBI. We’re not going anywhere.’ Before I knew it, I was coming out to see what was going on and watched them bust out their windows,” a neighbor told WBBJ.

Theodore’s family believes he was unarmed when the agents busted down the door and threw flashbangs into the home.

“It was a senseless act. You know Teddy was a 100% disabled veteran. He had problems. He had severe PTSD. He had depression but he was getting help for it but this was senseless. He didn’t have a weapon on him. He was just trying to get out of the house because it was filled with tear gas,” Theodore’s mother told WBBJ.

The house was destroyed by tear gas, flashbangs and bullets. Most of the windows were busted out.

I really admire Chris Robinson’s videography, editing, and narration on the “Night Crew” hunting show. Tory Cook of MFK calls (Made For Killing)has done outstanding research on coyote behavior, life cycles and vocalizations. His calls are next level. Just how fucked up the usps is.
So i put a scope up for sale and a buyer sent me money for it. Next morning i put it in the original box bubble wrap it and box it up. Off to postoffice i go.
Send it priority mail with insurance with expected delivery a few days later. 2 days after expected delivery date its sitting in dallas.
Ok so it is at least moving. Wake up this morning that it was undeliverable or un returnable to sender and sent to lost mail center for processing.
Will refund the buyer his $ and start the long process of a claim as soon as they open and i can get in there for that. Morons i swear. Or maybe i am the moron for thinking a gov agency could actually get something right for a change

When you put your home up for sale....just think it through....your "security system" isn't what most people have in mind.

OK I have what is supposed to be a Palmetto upper. I have bought a set of go nogo gauges to try and start being more meticulous about what I have bought before I shoot them. So putting the go gauge in the chamber and putting the BCG in battery it is flush with the end of the upper reciever. The problem is the No Go gauge does the same thing. Now I have a Wilson upper here and the go gauge works with the BCG in battery and the end is flush with the upper. The No Go however does not allow the BCG to go into battery and the BCG extends past the end of the upper reciever. In the mean time I also took the barrel off and cleaned things and used some of that Mil Spec moly grease for reassembly and torqued to 50 lbs. I am not real impressed with the kind of cheesy aluminum barrel nut and how the handguard mounts to it.

How do I determine if it is the bolt, BCG or barrel to receiver fitup that is the problem? I don't mind getting tools and gauges to figure this out I just don't want to jump in and start buying things without a reason to do so though.

Looking to move my Scar. I love the rifle, but never shoot it. It's the reciprocating charging handle model. Comes with a Deadshot barrel installed (less than 100 rounds on the barrel, shoots sub-MOA easy with FGMM). I opted to sell the factory one and get a match grade with a slightly faster twist than the 1:12. It now has a 22" 1:10 twist barrel that has been cerakoted FDE by Deadshot and is threaded 5/8x24.

It was painted when I got it and I like a good rattle can job so I left it on there. The original color under it is FDE if you feel like removing it. It will come with 9 factory mags. I think I have 2 or 3 painted to match and the rest are all factory black with a handful of them still being new in box.

First,
Im not an optics snob. Reliability is my #1 concern. But I have wondered what my 527, 735 and EP5 would look like against each other at last light. Both the 735 and 527 have been used for the same application. Even though it’s mounted on a Vudoo here

Primary use for my high end optics is crop damage shooting (hunting whitetail deer for 3 months on farm fields with dnr issued permits). This is does only so being able to ID a doe from a spike is important

Let’s get right to the No BS condensed version of what I was looking at

Target:
Abandoned house
550 yards
Gas grill as primary target
At or past legal shooting hours
All with sunshades on

All comparisons were done at the same time, same targets off tripods. All were done at the same powers. Primarily 15 and 25 power

At end of legal shooting light (2011 CST) here’s my thoughts

- NF vs ZCO- Both were very comparable at 15 power. With the ZCO slightly edging the NF in brightness. But very slightly

At 25 power and 27 (27 is max for ZCO) it was apparent. I compared at both powers. Not one set to 25 and other to 27. The grill in the NF appeared to be a grill. Black and stainless. Very obvious. However the ZCO at the same point could see the dials and emblem on the grill very well. While the NF washed it out. I adjusted both through the parallax range and checked for the best spots in both. My results stayed the same.

I also compared the two against farm equipment and siding. The ZCO had the upper hand on the details. At 15 power both were very comparable. The fact the ZCO performed this well at its max power was surprising.

So ZCO definitely had the upper hand in last light ID. But the 7-35 would probably work til last light for my use as well

- Now for the Arken. This is a $500 optic compared to $3600 and $4000 optics. So let’s not pretend they cost the same or we expect the same performance. That said

On 15 power the Arken had a haze. Like a white/washed out haze. Where the ZCO could see the knobs on the grill (this is 5 minutes after legal light) the Arken could barely tell it was a grill. Had I not looked earlier I’d have trouble IDing what I was looking at.

At 25 power forget it. I started at 25 and it was so washed out I looked to see if my scope was fogged up. It was that unusable. The house was a wash let alone the grill. But we’re talking a $500 optic.

- So in the end. The ZCO is a step on the NF but not truly until last light was it to the point where I’d say I’d make a mistake shooting a spike vs a doe. With the light pictured below they were very comparable. The ZCO edged out the NF but it wasn’t “oh my god I’m selling this NF for another ZCO”

This test in fact told me the NF isnt going anywhere. If your picking between both on a table grab the ZCO. But I wouldn’t take a huge loss on the NF to upgrade. Just my opinion

Now other features I’ve noted using both recently,

- The illumination on the ZCO hands down is better than the push button on the NF

- The non rotating ocular on the ZCO hands down beats the NF. Especially running a triggercam

- Turrets. This is where it gets tricky. Honestly the NF turrets are awesome. I like the locking feature on the ZCO but feel and sound definitely don’t have a clear winner. The NF holds its own here

- Reticle MPCT3 vs Mil XT. I still think the Mil XT is the shit. It’s just perfectly designed and I’m used to it. So my preference is still Mil XT

- Parallax. ZCO hands down. More forgiving and the numbers are almost spot on. So you can reliably set it based on range. NF is about 300 yards off and you have to adjust looking through the scope

That’s my take on hunting several times (way more with NF) with both. Then incorporating the Arken just because many wonder, including me, how it stacks up

NO REFUNDS! FAFO!

So i kind of inherited this rifle and was told it was special. It had been sitting in a case in a garage for probably 2 decades when I opened it up. Has some surface rust but should be able to clean it up. Its a .222 Remington that someone decided to drill the side of so they could add a williams scope mount and it has been drilled for a williams adjustable peep sight. I don't know a ton about these guns but after some research, the Date code is PJK, which should date it to 1962.

So here we have a Remington 700, from the first year of production, with a cool Serial Number (10001) that some dickcheese decided to drill into.

I have the entire gun torn apart and will start restoring everything soon. The trigger works but its all kinds of gummed up. Going to soak it in acetone then lube it up well before reinstalling.

Any idea if this gun had any kind of value if it wasn't molested? Is it possible to fill the mount holes drilled into side (right where it says remington 700). If I do send it out, its going to @LongRifles Inc.
