Good afternoon, I had posted on another thread about wanting to do a M40 platform tribute build. I say tribute because its going to be left handed, and in 6.5 Creedmoor. I have had ZERO proper training in the use of optics. So whatever I get will be going with me to training and classes.

I'm needing scope recommendations and I'll list the ones I'm looking at. All of them are FFP and in MRAD. The rifle will be used in a predominantly bench rest, prone, competition, and class shooting role. It might go hunting with me as well. Max range I have access to is 1,100 yards. I though about getting a Leupold Mk 4 4.5-15x50 but its not FFP has mismatched MOA knobs on a MIL reticle, which I read on this sight isn't ideal. I was also warned that just because the military uses it doesn't mean its the best option. I'm a little nervous about "christmas tree" reticles as they look busy to me. However I realize that they might be the best option and I need to be open-minded and could be trained on it from the start.

Hollywood star and radical leftist activist Jane Fonda has declared that the current “climate crisis” is a result of racism, saying in a recent interview that “everything’s connected.”
Speaking this week on NBC’s “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” Jane Fonda offered her theory on climate and race.
“Well, you know, you can take anything -– sexism, racism, misogyny, homophobia, whatever, the war, and if you really get into it, and study it and learn about it and the history of it and — everything’s connected. There’d be no climate crisis if it wasn’t for racism,” she said.
When asked to elaborate, Fonda replied: “Where would they put the shit ?”
“Where would they put the poison and the pollution?” she continued. “They’re not gonna put it in Bel Air. They’ve got to find some place where poor people or indigenous people or people of color are living. Put it there. They can’t fight back. And that’s why a big part of the climate movement now has to do with climate justice.”

Looking for some first-hand experience with these 2 stock/chassis. My project is a 300 PRC for ELR shooting. My Origin LA is in NICS purgatory (Oregon, 2 month wait right now) and I've picked Straight Jacket Armory to do the barrel work (Benchmark blank, 26" MTU profile).

I'm now in the process of choosing a stocks/chassis. Easiest option is the KRG Bravo. Seems that everybody likes it and it comes already with a CIP length magwell to fit the 300 PRC mags (3.850").

The other stock that looks really interesting to me is the MDT XRS. I like the look and the fact that it has a longer forend than the Bravo, as well as MLok slots and changeable grip angle. The problem is the magwell is only standard AICS length. MDT told me that it could be adapted by a gunsmith removing 0.135" material at the front of the magwell.

Assuming I have the magwell opened up, is there any opinion on which of these would be better?

So I do overnight security for a gov contract, which means lots of sitting on youtube since it's all we can get on..... Also starting at page 1 I've made it to page 1349 of the motivational thread lol. What channels do you gentlemen prefer? What do you recommend? Any suggestions on good precision/long range ones that aren't dry as shit. When I joined I got sent some youtube links to Phillip Velayo to educate me on this lifestyle. I bought this from an estate and have not fired it. Gun appears to be never fired or fired only a few times Speedy build. Barrel is stainless and only marked S.G.& Y .308 that I can see. The action doesn't have a scratch on it and like I said bolt looks new. Has a match trigger of some kind that is super smooth. The AI chassis is like new as well. Leupold scope Vari-X 3 4.5-14x50mm scope mint condition with what I believe are Badger rings.
