What type of barrel rifling is this?

Relatively new to rimfire and very new to CZ 457 aftermarket barrels.

This Lothar-Walther aftermarket barrel shoots better than my stock 16", no keyholes.
To prep for an upcoming match, I was going to cleaning my chamber and look for carbon ring, so I popped in my newly acquired bore scope.
To my surprise, it was hard to find any rifling, at least compared to the CZ, Ruger, and Kidd barrels.

For the more experienced, what am I looking at? Is this polygonal rifling, a manufacturer defect, or are the rifling worn out/damaged?
I've done very minimal cleaning initially, no copper or steel brush, just nylon brush and a few patches with Boretech Rimfire Blend down the barrel with an .17" Tipton rod and plastic eyelet.

Thank you for your advice and help in advance.

223 rounds dent during seating

Loading some Hornady 62gr spire point bullets and there is a ring dent about 40% of the way down the visible portion of the bullet. I have some bullets from an unknown company that are 62gr spire point also and they have a minuscule mark and no dent. Using Dillon dies. Does anyone have any suggestions? I see one popular video that touts a light sanding at the mouth of the die but have no idea how valid that idea is. The unknown bullets are .224" and the Hornady's are .223" Dents happen with sized neck no ream and with ream.

How bad can dents be before they effect accuracy?

Climate Change Fails

This thread is long overdue...there have been several appropriate links just in the last week.

Help spend my money on a hunting rifle build

I’m currently looking into putting a 7mm mag together for all around deer/elk hunting. I initially was going to convert my Tikka T3 .270 into a 280ai. Because of the ammo situation (I do not currently reload) I decided the just go to a 7mm mag as it is readily available around me. I want to shoot this suppressed so I am looking for a max barrel length of 24”, preferably 22”.

Do I pick up a Tikka T3 lite in 7mm and rebarrel it with a prefit or buy a custom action and piece it together? Or is there a better factory rifle that fits my criteria for $2k or so? I’m wanting to be able to do all of the work at home, so a prefit barrel for the action is a must. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Great Reset: Switzerland Threatens to Jail People Who Heat Their Homes Too Much in the Winter!

People who heat their homes above a certain temperature in Switzerland during the Winter face fines and potentially up to three years in prison if energy rationing measures are put in place.

Under proposed legislation in the home of the World Economic Forum (WEF), Swiss lawmakers are preparing to set legal limits on the use of heating during the winter should the country face energy shortages. Under the plans, gas-heated buildings would be capped at 19C (66.2F) and water heating up to 60C (140F). Saunas and swimming pools would also be forced by government diktat to remain cold.

So-called “heating sinners” in Switzerland who heat buildings above the legal limit will face daily fines of 30 francs ($30/£27) to a maximum of 3,000 francs. Fines for companies that deliberately breach the regulations will likely be much higher.

Most worryingly, individuals who are found to have intentionally violated the energy rationing limit could be jailed for up to three years, the Swiss German-language daily newspaper Blick reported.

Minister of Economic Affairs Guy Parmelin attempted to downplay the draconian measures, saying last week: “We are not a police state”.

“The police will not check everyone – but there can be selective checks,” he said, adding: “The draft regulations are primarily based on the fact that the vast majority of the population adheres to laws.”

However, spokesman for the Federal Department of Finance, Markus Spörndli said that the government will be open to tips from neighbours snitching on their fellow citizens “if the offence were reported and controlled and could subsequently be proven.”

Hey, remember the time when we totally got COVID wrong? Yeah. Here's another nutty solution that will totally fix this massive existential problem!https://t.co/OBcWd55NKV

How exactly the government plans to prove such allegations remains a question, given that it is difficult to determine the temperature of the inside of a building from the outside.

Fredy Fässler, the president of the Conference of Cantonal Justice and Police Directors, argued that the government should enact such rules with “a sense of proportion” and that officers should not spend their time going door to door checking thermostats.
Fässler also argued against imposing jail sentences, saying that imposing fines — like during the Chinese coronavirus crisis — will be sufficient and will not clog up the court system with complex criminal proceedings over heating.

The imposition of jail time, or indeed fines, is not a done deal yet, as the 26 individual cantons (states) of Switzerland have until the 22nd of this month to raise objections and counter proposals before the legislation is pushed forward.

The proposed rationing regime comes amid increasing concerns about the prospect of Russia cutting off the taps to Europe, with President Vladimir Putin warning on Wednesday that if the European Union tries to impose a price cap on Russian gas imports, he would cut off all forms of energy to the bloc.

Zeiss LRP S3 Glass SHOWDOWN vs MK5, Razor G2, Kahles, ZCO

Obviously the S3 is all the buzz. I was sent one to run through its paces, and think this thing is a really nice value with an absolutely absurd amount of elevation. They advertise 46mils or something, mine was well over 50 and tracked very well across the entire range. The glass is competitive with others as well.

Here are some comparison shots. Before the photo snobs pick everything apart, these were locked settings with a newer iphone, and track well with my (and another observer's) personal observations. The biggest gripe about these photos is that the S3 has a red coating on the glass that you don't see at all when actually using the optic, but a camera grabs it. So, as impossible as it may be, pretend that the red reflection doesn't exist.

Eyebox on the S3 is not as friendly as the S5, it is more touchy and "on/off" rather than being able to shift with a black border on one side, etc. It isn't crazy tight by any means, but the S5 is a kickass scope IMO and bats with the ZCO. Some may not like the huge turrets, but that's a conversation for another day.

Turrets feel fine, not super audible, not super mushy, not insanely crisp. I like how the windage knob is offset a bit for better viewing behind the scope. Reticle is satisfactory for my uses, weight feels reasonable, overall build is stout feeling.

Without further conversation, the unedited photos incoming. It's going to take multiple comments for all these, give me a few minutes before any responses so things can go right in order!

How Did The State Clear These Cops?

The lead detective lied on the warrant and she knew that he did and signed on to help it look better for the judge. Why? Because she was afraid of reprisal from her badge buddies.
Why did it take months for the postal inspector to refute the detective's claims? Can't cross the blue?
I hope they all get to stay in general pop.
