Re: M1A + ARMS #18 + ARMS #22 QD = Which ring height? I used the med. with a 3X9 SUper Sniper and I could have gone with the low. This issue is clearing the rear sight. I may change it out yet.

Re: All-around 9mm Handgun I own the CZ75B, Sig 226, Glock 19 and a Kahr CW9. I like em in the order given. I also own the 22 LR conversion kits for the CZ and Sig and the CZ one is better. They are all good but I like the CZ best.

Re: Choosing a scope for PTR 91 I've used a SWFA 3-9 on my HK91 which is good for steel at the ranges you mention. These are tough rifles to scope succfully. Since I got my LMT MWS the HK is just gathering dust in my safe.
Re: Why are we still shooting semi auto's from the 50s We are also still using Bolt actions which are from the 1880s. If it works, refine it until something better comes along. Newer does not automaticly mean better.
Re: Ammo for AR-10 in .308 LC brass, Fed match primers, 175 g SMK, 43.1 grains of RL15 loaded to 2.81 is a duplicate of M118LR. The RL15 in M118LR has a flash suppressant otherwise it is a duplicate. It shoots around 1/2 moa in my LMT MWS.
Re: Which others should I consider? I own both a M1A NM and an LMT MWS. If your into nostalgia go with the M1A. If your serious about long range gas gun accuracy I think you'll enjoy the AR platform. Scoping the M1A can be a challange. It can be done but takes money to get the M1A comfortable...
