As title suggests, where do we stand with tavor aftermarket triggers? As I understand it, the Timney's had soft primer strike issues. Has this been solved? Geissele has yet to release theirs. Any word on when this is coming out? The tav-d has been solid, but impossible to find in...
I ordered some cans from them back in their September 2012 promotion. Has everyone else gotten there's? I haven't gotten anything. No, I am not talking about the form 4 process... my dealer hasn't gotten his form 3 or the cans. Feedback? NOTE: THIS IS NOT AN ANTI TEMPLAR TACTICAL RAGE...
Is this a live debate? Have guys just settled on doing whether they are going to do? Has 6.5 emerged the victor? Or is 243 kicking more ass? Thanks all
I couldn't help but notice that lots of guys are dumping their PSTs. Often times it is for completley unrelated reasons (life happened a bill came due) from scope quality, etc. Am I alone in noticing this?
Bringing the girls shooting in a bit, figured I'd throw up some pictures. They are tikka t3 scouts, harris pods, wearing vortex razors and seekins rings, limbsaver recoil pads swapped in, blackhawk cheek pads, stock bottom metal and everything else. Caliber is 308 win. They shoot AMAZING...
Before everyone $hits all over me, no: I am not a sniper. Nor will I ever be one. I use that term in the subject headline since that is what many people call the 'genre' and it makes it easier for others to find it using searches (I tried searching for a thread and couldn't find it). Also, I...
Would I get the same performance if I took a Larue Stealth upper and threw it on a good lower, trigger, etc, or do you get better performance going for a complete larue rifle? On that note, what else is there? The goal is a precision 223 for 600-800 yards...
Budget: If necessary, I can spring for a S&B or something in that price range Use: For the time being, shooting to a grand... in the future who knows. Will be used for tactical competitions and hunting. What I think I want in order of importance (always open to hearing input): 1) Great/good...
(yes, I realize there is a forum for this... feel free to move) So I went to the range today with two friends... one a shooting buddy... the other my new Tikka Scout, 308. My buddy brought his new SRS in 6.5 creed. After doing some barrel break in and zeroing, we did some shooting...
Getting a new scope, going on a Tikka Scout. Budget is $1500 ish, but if the Vortex PST is close to nightforce, and it is half the price, then I am ok with that. Rifle will be used for comps, etc, out to 1k yards. Thoughts? Is nightforce THAT much better?
How is the installation of this? Just unscrew the old... screw in the new, and you're ready to roll with AICS mags? Could it be true? Are the equipment gods smiling and it really IS that easy?
So I have a good amount of 4895 and 4064 for my 308 and 30-06 semis... and the drop powder dispenser gets gummed up with these stick powders. It will hit to +-0.1 grain on 5 loads, then go +2 grains on one. Apart from being a massive safety issue, it's also a huge pain in the you know what...
