    Which luggage locks

Re: Which luggage locks Not only do you keep your key, it is advised to have an extra set of locks in your case. If for some reason TSA decides to open your case without you present and do so by cutting your locks, w/o the extra set your guns stay at that location and will not be put on the...

    Remington SPS metal finish

Re: Remington SPS metal finish When in doubt go stainless, but even it will rust. An aftermarket coating is the only real solution for carefree use. For me I have to apply something other than oil, as everything I touch rusts included stainless, must have alien blood in me.

Inexpensive but sturdy rifle shipping container?

Re: Inexpensive but sturdily rifle shipping container? UPS, worked their many moons ago and talk about damage. Moving packages by hand as fast as one can and it was nothing about tossing light to medium packages half the length of a semi-truck trailer. Amazed more packages didn't get damaged.

    Gunsmithing XCR Compact Action screws

Re: XCR Compact Action screws Mr. Dixon thanks for the reply, didn't know they come slightly oversized. Wish I mill in the garage but not at this stage, great idea though about counting back the number of revolutions I wouldn't have thought of that tactic. And this is why the guys pay you...

    Gunsmithing XCR Compact Action screws

An Alzheimer's moment on the bench has left with a missing front action to my Remy XCR tactical compact stock. I suspect foul play from my young son but have no one but myself to blame. I had the rifle apart for several days as I was putting a new paint job on it, when upon assembly I noticed...

Re: Recent reliability info on DPMS 308Bs? I had a DPMS 308 for a while and never really had an operational issue with it. That said, the stock trigger was pretty rough but I took the time to clean that up a bit though it really needed a nice aftermarket. At the time about the only issue...
