Re: 22 optics help general purpose / trainer Its a little outside of your zoom ranges but I use a falcon menace 4-14 X 44 on my trainer. Its mil mil and ffp. I wouldnt hesitate to take it out and hunt with it. They can be had for as low as $250 in the classifieds here. Just my .02
