    Suppressors HTG Suppressor closed

Re: HTG Suppressor closed First, let me state that I am no longer employed at HTG Silencers. So, anything I say, may not reflect their position or opinion. Yes, HTG Silencers is closing. It is my understanding that all orders will get shipped, but unfortunately, (probably) no new orders...

    Suppressors .45 Suppressor

Re: .45 Suppressor I would suggest you look at the HTG Cycle-3 45. It has a titanium tube and titanium and aluminum internals, can be indexed, and is within 2 dB of the Ti-Rant and Osprey. It is a very light, quiet, and durable handgun/subgun suppressor.

Suppressors What are vendor to dealer wait times now? Form 3s?

Re: What are vendor to dealer wait times now? Form 3s? I doubt Form 3's are taking 3 months due to the ATF. Probably, the manufacturer waited to submit the Form 3 (ie. the product wasn't ready yet) Or the Form 3 was submitted and returned to the manufacturer and the manufacturer is holding...

Suppressors 5.56 can for 8" sbr?

Re: 5.56 can for 8" sbr? Depends on what is intended with Full Auto fire. Belt fed? 10 continuous 30 Round Magazines? 1 or 2 30 Round Magazines? A lot of the cans out there will handle some level of full auto fire. If you are torching your gas tube and barrel, then you probably are going...

Suppressors What are vendor to dealer wait times now? Form 3s?

Re: What are vendor to dealer wait times now? Form 3s? As a general comment, most of our Form 3's out of Idaho are taking ~5 weeks. We have seen some taking a little longer, so we called the NFA branch. We were told that the ATF has 30 days to mail the Form 3 back to us once they have...

    KRG new Whiskey-3 Folder Chassis

Re: KRG new Whiskey-3 Folder Chassis The rifle is built from a Sako M995 action, 30" Kreiger barrel, KRG Whiskey-3 folding chassis, and HTG Posidon Suppressor. It is chambered for 338 LM. I haven't had time to shoot it much yet. Early loads are producing .75" groups at 100 yards. I will...

    Suppressors Tikka T3 Lite

Re: Tikka T3 Lite I would also probably thread the barrel 1/2-28 and go with an adapter. It will be strong enough and you will get solid alignment with the 1/2-28 to 5/8-24 adapters.

Suppressors New Toy Money-TBAC, Bottom Metal or .260 Build?

Re: New Toy Money-TBAC, Bottom Metal or .260 Build? I wouldn't have expected any different responses. I, too, would go with the can. Save up the money for the 260 build while you wait for the can. Form 4 lead times are running about a month longer than they were mid-summer. Expect 5+ month...

Suppressors Torch in Black or in the White?

Re: Torch in Black or in the White? I like black, but bead blasted SS finish looks nice too. I wouldn't go with the semi-polished look of a turned can. Too shiny for me.

    Suppressors Form 4 wait time

Re: Form 4 wait time Snook said Form 4's are now running at least 5 months. I think since July, their volume has picked up a little bit. My Form 3's are taking a bit longer too. Used to be 3 weeks, now it is 4 weeks.

Movie Theater What's Your All-Time Favorite Western?

Re: What's Your All-Time Favorite Western? I am surprised 'Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid' only got a few mentions. A couple of great characters and they had great lines. 'Open Range' is a good western. I liked it better the second time I watched it, though. It is one of the best...

Suppressors One can - Multiple Calibers?

Re: One can - Multiple Calibers? A 308 can will work on a 223 can. It just won't usually work better than a dedicated .223 can. The overbored baffles won't retard the gases like the smaller bore baffles will. The other downside is that the 308 can will be longer and heavier than is...
