Defiance Deviant Nitrided Action. Lapua BF. .750" bolt. 20 MOA rail About 30 rds through this barreled action so it's like new. Shot very well with 220gr ELD-Xs. Proof 1.25" shank, 26" long. 1:9" twist. I did the chambering as I do for all of my own rifles. Engraved by me, as well with my own silly personal logo. Terminator T3 brake. Gunwerks Magnus stock for the above barreled action. Defiance LA Rem 700 inlet. 13.25" LOP. Internal chassis milled a bit to accept a standard M5 bottom metal. Gunwerks won't typically accept an M5 metal without their recommendation of modifying the bottom metal, but I wanted any M5 BM to work so just had to relieve about .070" from each side and now M5s fit nice. Proof Sendero 1.25" shank contour. It's a superbly well made stock. Asking $850 shipped.

This is in my area. In fact, I have been several times to the Black Beard Armory and Range in Sherman, Texas. So, that guy is a true expert. He looked at the video of a bank robber and surmised the guy is carrying a black powder pistol. So, yeah, the robber will probably get away in unless he gets involved in a shoot-out. That reload is time-consuming.

In Texas and Oklahoma, a black powder weapon is not considered a firearm. My friend, John, who hunted all of his life in Oklahoma used a black powder muzzleloader rifle and smelt his own .50 cal lead balls. The reason was precisely because the rifle was not considered a "firearm."

So, mayby this robber thinks punishment will not be as swift. But it can be. It doesn't matter if you aim a toy pistol, it is a threat and it counts.

Despite the doubters, though, Shana Evans, the boy’s mom, claims it’s all true. Jeremiah is only 12. The mustache is real, but the tattoos are not real.

Gauging if there’s still a market for these? Fair price for a barely used one?

Hi Everyone, still a relative newbie here. I read over this thread which had a lot of good info but things sometimes change and its a little old (2018).

I'm looking for the "best" LPVO to put on an all Aero carbine I built for general use/carbine classes/Run n Gun's, etc... I state Aero just so we know it's not a match rifle or LMT/DD rifle, etc...

I know "best" is subjective and I'm unlikely to find one with all of these features, but if you know an optic which meet most of them, (but might be weak in one or more areas), please share.

Desired Features:
Lightweight yet Rugged/Durable for field use.
True 1x
Clear Glass
Super Bright illuminated reticle for red dot-like performance
At least 1-6x, preferably 1-8x or 1-10x
SFP or FFP, I like the idea of being able to range with the reticle, but most longer shots would be at full magnification so a SFP w/BDC would work OK
Robust throw lever for quick magnification changes (Preferably using gross motor skills. I've had the throw levers on two strikes eagles break, loosen etc...)
Good eye box at higher magnification
Preferably mil rad over over moa adjustments, especially if FFP

I will offer this, assume cost is not an issue. I am willing to buy once/cry once. The best optic I own is a Nightforce Nx8 on my Tikka and while it may not be as good as their ATACR line or other higher end optics you all might use, it works for me. My second best optic is a VCog 1x8 on my AR10 and I like it, but it's heavy AF. While I'm willing to pay for quality, I don't need to buy a Mercedes if a Lexus or Toyota have the features I need.
