    Rifle Scopes Scope question

    Just picked up a fn pbr 308 w/ 18" barrel, factory base (20moa?) & a bushy elite 4200 6-24 on top. At a 100 yard sight in I only have 12 moa of elevation left on my scope. Is this typical? Im wanting to goto 1000 yards w/ this gunn. Is new glass with more elevation in order? Thanks guys
