Re: Rayner’s SE Ohio Spring Sniper Challenge 3/31-4/1 Congrats on the win Dave P. Had a good time shooting with you guys this time around. You shot that lil 6x47L very well. later Rob
Re: March 31-April 1 Rayner’s Southeastern Ohio Spring As always, a great match put on by Rayner's. Some of the stages from the fall match and several new one's mixed in to keep you on your toes. I managed to snag some raspberry off the pies table! LOL
Re: New guy first build ?'s First off, pretty impressive mindset for a 20yr old. Most kids today cant look to the end of next week, let alone what they want to do when they have kids of their own. As for your cartidge choices, I eliminate the Grendel for serious 1000yd use. I have one in...
Re: Rayner's SE Ohio Sniper Challenge Oct. 29-30 Congrats to the Daves. Had a great time as usual at Rayner's. Tom and Dan set up a nice course of fire that can stretch one's comfort zone pretty quick like. Can't wait until the spring match comes around. Rob
Re: Rayner's SE Ohio Sniper Challenge April 9/10 2011 Knew enough to dial the scope back and set parralax, but didnt know 4X would be a little light. Fortunately found the King of Spades in nick of time and got a shot off. Now if I would just learn to mount a scope on a rifle and get some...
Re: Rayner's SE Ohio Sniper Challenge April 9/10 2011 +1 well thought out COF. Didnt over emphasize shooting from the prone position and brought fieldcraft into the match. Suprised myself on some stages in a good way and not so good on other stages. Everyone appeared to enjoy themselves...
Re: OHIO: Rayners Feb Long Range Rifle Match Gotta say it was a great day and a really good turnout. Seems my skiing portion of the biathalon weekend went mo better then the shooting portion. Oh well, you'll have those days I guess. Thanks to the Rayner's crew for putting up with us again...
Re: Rayner's 2011 schedule in Ohio Will certainly make another match or three at Rayner's. Folks put on a great match with super turnout and timely match results. Will have to be the early spring and fall matches though. Cause once the water gets warm, the family and I are out on the skis...
Re: Rayners 1000 yard shoot on 10/24/2010 Thanks for the shoot. Had a great time and a great bunch of guys to shoot with. I'll be back for certain. Rob
Re: Sept Rayners Long Range Rifle Match *OHIO* Damn, you guys are getting great turnout for these matches. I'm gonna have to dust off a rifle and join the fun in October.
Re: Rayners May LR Rifle Match *OHIO* Wow..44 shooters! That's incredible guys, must be doing something right. Woulda been 45, but the weather on the lake was way to nice today and the kids and the wife are way before shooting these days. One of these days, a weekend off will line up with...
Re: Need a good Smith near Charleston WV You are quite welcome. Check out the White Horse Shooting Center. It's over near Buckhannon, but they shoot NRA and IBS 1000yd there. http://whitehorse.thomassmith.us/index.htm
Re: Need a good Smith near Charleston WV Right in your backyard. Stan Taylor lives in Sissonville, WV and does fantastic work. He does several of the rifles that compete at the WV 1000yd benchrest matches and they all shoot. Rob
Re: Bad long range calibers Outerspace You wont go wrong with a Tooley built rifle. Dave has built a couple for me and I have been more then pleased with them. Dave is beyond legit, having built longrange and point blank BR rifles as well as some government funded projects. Knows his...
