Do you de-prime before you do your first cleaning?

I've been sizing and depriming before cleaning my brass in the tumbler. Should I tumble and clean before this step? Or is that just adding an extra step. I guess it comes down to the issue of whether I should resize "dirty" brass. Thanks

    Rifle Scopes Optic cleaning

I saw the video of how to clean a scope by US Optics. They use compressed air and acetone. Recently I saw a shooter use compressed air on his S&B scope and it destroyed his scope. How would acetone not damage the coating on the lens? How do the hide members clean their rifle scopes? Lance

Gunsmithing What makes a barrel shoot better before cleaning?

Seems that after cleaning all of the copper out of my barrel, it takes 15 to 20 rounds before my shots tighten back up. I will shoot between 1/2 and 3/4" groups after a good cleaning but once i get a few rounds thru the barrel, my groups will tighten up under 1/2" at 100 yards. Is it just me or...
