I’m not one who goes to the Doctor often, most things just work themselves out. I need a little advice. This started when I was cutting up a tree for firewood and I tried to lift something I shouldn’t have. It got better on its own but now it’s back. I have a rather intense pain daily in the lower right side of my back. The more I sit or lay down the worse it gets with the pain starting in my lower back and going down my right leg to the ankle. If I’m standing or walking the pain is either much less or goes away at least for a little while. Anyone have this issue?

I remember this like it was yesterday my first day on the job,, and my Moms bday.
The Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building was a United States federal government complex located at 200 N.W. 5th Street in downtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. On April 19, 1995, at 9:02 a.m. the building was the target of the Oklahoma City bombing by terrorists Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols, which killed 168 people.

Dedicated AR22 upper, CMMG barrel & bolt.
It was more of a loud poof than a kaboom. The rear of the case blew out of the chambered round & the heat ignited the top round in the mag (I think it was heat unless somebody has a better idea). The indent in the mag round looks like it was pressed against the feed ramp of the collar. The bullet in the pic must be from the mag round; I found it on the bench after I pulled the upper off.




The mag looked something like this when I pulled it out. The shredded case was angled forward more & there were about 15 more rounds in it. The front of the left feed lip broke off, there's a small crack at the left rear that extends about 1/2" from the top, & the halves separated at the top rear.

The only damage to the gun was a broken extractor spring. Replaced the spring & fired about 35 rds of the same lot number without issue. Two days later the rear of another case blew out (7th round of the day). Broke another extractor spring. I don't think I'll be firing anymore rounds from this lot again. On the day of the first kaboom/poof I fired between 160 to 165 rds without issue. 200 rounds prior to that without issue. So 2 rear of case blowouts out of about 400 of the same lot. Previously I've put about 1,000 rounds of 2 different lots of Super Extra through this rifle without issue.

Hi guys, hope this is the correct section for this post. Unfortunately I had my u.s roll marked ser # G7008498 Remington 700 receiver stolen 4 weeks ago.
I've filed a police report with my local PD , This receiver was at a gun smiths for usmc A5 build , i had recently decided to stop this build due to funds being tight, im off work due to a knee replacement, the gunsmith sent back my A5 parts in one box, the barrel in one box and my receiver in one box i thought this was very odd but ok, all my parts made it and the barrel made it. The box that supposely held my receiver made it to my post local office open,
maybe the box wasn't sealed correctly, my regular Mail man a great guy said the box didnt have any extra tape on it, if lose packed it could of busted the usps seal there was no wrapping etc just a empty box arrived at the main po. my mail man reported it immediately to his supervisor, they sent it back to sender and notified the po lost and found, so it might show up. if anyone comes across it would appreciate them reporting it to me , from what i learnt i cant report it to atf directly but my local pd with whom i filed the report will , i know its a long shot but you never know.

But here is where it gets good: the teacher made these statements to the ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL while teaching a class and then REPEATED them to the school guidance counselor. Under a temporary court order, firearms and ammo were removed from the teacher's home. The teacher was allowed to return to school a couple days later.

Another mass casualty event

I'm 62 and as many of you know, I'm not in the best of health. I doubt I will be able to shoot like I have in the past, so I'm wondering what would you do with the firearms I own. Now don't get me wrong, my shooting ability is not on par with some here, so my equipment isn't as well. But I wonder if selling to a shooter who could use the equipment now isn't the best option. I have kids, but they really do have firearms that are equal to the quality of mine, so they don't have a need for dear old dad's rifles.
