Maybe my search powers are weak I did t see this powder mentioned ,or not mentioned in detail other than it was a suitable substitute for Varget .
Has anyone used SW S062 powder - mostly for .308 and 5.56 but 8mm and 7/30 Waters as well ? As Varget has been unobtainable and I was able to score some of this powder and they have more in stock . Just wondering about y’all’s experience with it and exactly where you’ve gotten data .

Hey guys, I am looking at switching from my NX8 2.5-20 on my .308 bolt gun (KRG CHASSIS ARC action) to something new. I’m looking at the ATACR 4-20 with mil xt MRAD reticle vs the Leupold MK5HD 3.6-18 with PR1 reticle MRAD. Most of our work is up close but we train out to 800 yards plus sometimes and also I would somewhat like to use this rifle for PRS matches as additional training. Will be using a Spuhr mount either way. One of the issues I’ve had with the NX8 is eye relief and eye box but with the current setup I have, I cannot move the scope any closer to my eye. Thanks for the input in advance!

So I was looking to buy a McMillian A1-3 stock that was already set up for a Rem700 S/A. The stock was just like primes no paint so I called them to see if they would paint it. They said they wont open the box even to paint it but I can buy it and then ship it right back to them to have it painted. How fucking lame is that?I just wanted a nice paint job on it and not send it to some dude with a can of Krylon in his basement. They wont do it while its there.

My brother was sighting in his 30-30 at 100 yds and then tried from 50 yds since that is closer to the distance he hunts from.

All the shots shown are the same caliber from the same 50yd distance. Shot one and three were stopped. Shots two and four went straight threw the 1/4" hardened steel. The still is from a metal manufacturer from in town but not specifically designed to be ar500 rated steel. We have been shooting this same target for 5+ years hitting it with everything in our arsenal without any problems until now.

I'm new to Tikka and was thinking about starting a new project. I plan on a cadex or MDT chassis at some point . But All I've ever known was Remington 700s.

As a military sniper rifle or a field gun that takes a beating...how reliable is the recoil lug system in the Tikka action? You got after market companies putting in integrated recoil lugs or thicker lugs in the 700clones... I've accidentally "dropped tested" my ga precision M40a3 many times before with no loss of zero.

I haven't seen any complaints on the Tikka but I have to ask before I dive in

For sale is an Accuracy International AT rifle with an AX buttstock conversion. This is the newer version of the AT with a small firing pin and quick lock barrel change system. The AX conversion has been installed/bonded to the chassis using factory kit. The rifle also has an anarchy outdoors picatinny bipod spigot but includes all factory parts and paperwork (factory AI spigot, sling swivel bipod adapter) and one magazine. It is in excellent condition with no bolt face pitting. 510 rounds on the included AI 24" .308 barrel. 689 rounds on the action itself.

I have an Impact NBK in a Foundation Exodus but I’ve got an itch for an Atlas Tactical. Since they’re both 700 based actions, the Atlas should in theory drop into the Foundation and work, right?

I understand that the ejection port might not line up exactly perfectly but I’m thinking it should work as well as the KMW bottom metal.
