Re: AAC pilot question According to the info on the silencerresearch .22lr shootout review, the Pilot is NOT rated for magnums. It is an aluminum can w/ a steel blast baffle, but I think the aluminum is holding it back from a multi-caliber rating. Regards, Nate

Re: shooting 22 cal through a 5.56 can Yes they are still effective. Some more than others, but the answer is yes. .308 and 5.56 cans have a much larger volume than the standard .22lr can so that helps make up for the larger bore diameter. Regards, Nate
