We've now added a color code for all accounts. Orange accounts are new members, Blue are full members, and Green are Supporters. If you get a message about a sale from an orange account, make sure you pay attention before sending any money!
Re: Looking to suppress the RFB BachelorJack, Do you recommend anyone for this? I enjoy shooting the RFB, but you are correct it doesn't suppress well.
Re: 300 whisper kboteler, I'm in your area, and have a 300 Whisper Encore you're welcome to shoot with and without a suppressor. Let me warn you when you shoot it, or anything else suppressed, be ready to spend some money because there is no going back.
Re: SRT Titanium .308 any owners out there? I have the Shadow Ti and Ti XL, as well as many other cans from SRT, very pleased with all of them. You will get a top performer and excellent customer service from Doug.
Re: Need suggestion Since your not shooting exclusively on the benchrest, these are two of the worst recommendations you could have. For your purpose there is NO need for a can that weighs over 18oz, and that is to much for me.
Re: Jet Suppressors Look on the bright side, now you get to pay the Government $200 for a long wait, on a much louder can than you could of had a long tome ago.
Re: Hogs are tearing up my place! Make a cage to trap the hogs. Once caught kill all in the trap but one female. Put a radio tracking collar (the kind used for keeping up with tracking dogs) on her and release her, she will find her way back to a group. Surround the area and light it up.
Re: Jet Suppressors I was also referred to Jet, and like your friends, was given an apology. Apparently there was a time when Jet had some form of C.S. and even a decent product. Now there are so many better options, and from manufacturers that will actually deliver. My only question is how...
Re: Finally zeroing in on a 30 cal Suppressor: No reason not to believe the 300-SD will be a very good can, but don't even consider it an option until it is in a dealer's hand. There are many good options readily available and no need to ever go over about 18oz.
Re: LOOKING AT AN SRT ARMS INTEGRAL, I have many cans and integrals from Doug, all have been top notch, and excellent C.S. For integrals and custom builds SRT would be hard to beat.
Re: Another can thread...researched...need opinions... Although it is made of Ti the 20oz. Thundertrap is still heavy for what is available. I do not have one but I do have a newer stainless Thundertrap. It is not as quiet as my much lighter SRT Ti, and not even close to my SRT Ti XL. Having...
Re: 308 Subsonic ammo I have killed more deer than I can remember with EBR subsonics. They are a little slow, about 900 fps in an 18", but they expand unlike other .308 subsonic rounds. I am referring to the Precision Bonded not the Thumper.
