Re: Bushnell Legned Ultra HD 10x42, Mil-Hash Reticle Can't comment on the actual monocular but I have some Bushnell 10x42 Legend Ultra HD Binoculars. Glass is excellent, really good set of binoculars. I would have to say looking at the specs the monocular will have just as nice glass. Hope...
Re: What's mounted on top of your .223? Thanks ggmanning. Always been a fan of the M40 series of rifles so that was the look I was going for, the M40A1 look. It's nowhere near spec but I think it still looks pretty good.
Re: What's mounted on top of your .223? I've got a Leupold Mk4 4.5-14x40 pr with Nightforce .885 low rings and 0 moa two piece base. Rifle is a Remington SPS tactical in a Mcmillan HTG stock with Badger M4 bottom metal. Use it for mainly hunting and a bit of target shooting. It's light enough...
Re: To you who hate the MTC on the new 3-20x50 PM2 To zero I don't think your meant to take the turret off. Just loosen the 2 screws and move the turret beck to zero. That's what I did with mine. Somewhere on here there is a topic explaining how to zero the MTC turrets.
Re: H2CMR Just got a 3-20x50 and thanks from the input of Rob01 I chose the H2CMR. My experience so far has been with mildots, if you like the mildot reticle you'll love the H2CMR. I really like how the illumination works on it too.
Re: I didn't pre-order the S&B 3-20 I didn't pre order either. Kept watching one of the sponsors websites a couple of times a day when they started showing them, but not in stock. Couple of weeks ago I checked and they were in stock, so I jumped on it, now I have one. Just do what I did, keep...
Re: I just pulled the trigger, (not really) I sometimes use google earth for this, there is a measurement tool on there. Not exact but is close enough.
Re: Konus spotter? Ive got one, very happy with it. For a cheaper spotter it does everything I want it to do. I can see .30 holes out to 400yd easy, I'm confident I would have no trouble spotting further.
Re: Decent Budget Spotting Scope? I have the Konus 20-60 x 80 and it will do what you want to do easily, but as 12Bravo said it does cost a bit more. Only thing is the tripod that comes with it does the job but it's not real good. Furthest I have spotted is .308 holes at 400yds, I'd be...
Re: Lumley Arms DBM question... I've got a Lumley Arms DBM. It's exactly the same inlet as a Badger M5 DBM, not sure how DD Ross would fit. I ordered a McMillan stock inletted for a Badger M5 with pillars installed so did not use the supplied pillars, it's a perfect fit. Very solid and well...
Re: Having so much trouble with this site Had the same problem but it was with google chrome. Was going good then a couple of months ago it started doing what you described. Yeah it was only this site too. I changed to firefox for this site and have no problem now. You might want to try...
Re: Warning! Radians Custom Molded Earplug Failure I work in an industry that requires me to wear ear plugs most of the day. A while ago a bunch of us tested some custom moulded plugs. We had the company come in and custom fit them to us, they use a syringe to put it right into you ear. We...
Re: New McMillan Stocks (pics) I received a Mcmillan A4 with a saddle cheekpiece last week and it has a single screw for the cheekpiece (like the TPR above). All the other pictures I have seen of the A4 have 2 screw's. Is this their new setup for the A4?
Re: S&B 3-12 x 50 or 5-25 x 56 Looks like the 5-25x56 is going on my shopping list. I know there are other brands available that would fit my needs as ToKeepAndBear said. All the stuff I have read about higher end optics everything always keeps getting compared to S&B, so thats why I'm going...
Re: S&B 3-12 x 50 or 5-25 x 56 I was thinking along those lines Rob01. While I may not need 25x for shooting, it would be nice to be able to zoom in to check things out. 3-12 would fit my shooting needs but may not give me what I want in magnification. The 5-25 seems to have the best choice...
