I didnt go with the timney tactical trigger. Instead i just went with a standard shilen trigger. They are rated a 1.5# to 3.0# I hope this is a decent trigger. Anyone running one here?? Lee

Just returned from the range. Tried 38.8, 39.2, 39.6, 40.0m and 40.4 of N550 and 139 Scenars from a JP rifle. The 40 and 40.4 gave the best groups with avg. velocity of 2528 and 2570 respectively. Is the velocity enought or should I try for more. Thanks, Lance

Why not the 504T for a drop-in barreled action for trainer? Just asking. Really want to put together a trainer and from what I can find the 504 is a decent action that gets you close to the 700 in fit and feel. Pros/Cons? Does McM inlet for the 504?
