Latest leftist hissy fit

Looks like the degenerate subhuman filth on the other side are not fans of Jason Aldean’s latest “Try That In A Small Town” video.

Video isn’t that bad. For the level of reee that we’re seeing there should have been more Kyle Rittenhouse & Augusto Pinochet.

Giving the video a like is like giving the other side the finger.

Age does not always bring wisdom

Some 71 yr. thought Death Valley during one of the hottest heat waves in history was a good place to go hiking.

Yup, he was from California.

Swfa 3-15 for custom rifle? Not enough glass?

So I have a custom rifle that does not have a scope yet, it’s an origin action, manners stock, with a proof barrel and Hawkins, trigger tech, and all of that good stuff… but… I just got a swfa 3-15 today and I’m pretty damn impressed with it, to the point I’m considering putting a $700 scope on a $3500 rifle, I know most people stick with the more money on glass than the rifle rule of thumb or at least spend 1k plus on glass, but I honestly don’t need crazy good glass for a hunting scope, Curious if anybody else has used cheaper scopes on higher end rifles rifles? The only reason I’m even considering the swfa is I like the reticle, and the thing is tough…

SOLD New Labradar W/ RRS TFC34 and BH55 SCR Head

Sold to a gentleman in New Mexico. Thanks everyone.

I bought all this brand new in may-June of this year. It’s a badass setup, but I find myself still using my magnetospeed as my go-to. It’s a great unit, but I guess after years of using a magnetospeed, I’m just happier using it and with so much in life going on, I don’t have the time nor the need to learn something completely new. I’ve only used this whole setup for about 5 minutes outside, with a string of like 25 rounds out of my Vudoo 22. I have every bit of original packaging and it is all in brand new condition. I’m not sure if they’re still backordered like crazy but I waited a good 3 months to get this from TCK.

Labradar
Air gun trigger thing from labradar
RRS TFC34
Gray ops arca adapter
RRS BH55SCR ball head. This is the new style arca head with the adjustable clamping force arca and picatinny rail. It is strong as hell and will hold my AXSR clear out at the end of the rail with no issue. Plus, if you are glassing with it it is incredibly smooth.

This was $2320, plus tax and shipping to get. For a week or so, I want to keep it all together unless I get a buyer for the labradar, with accessories, and a buyer for the RRS and ball head.

$2050 shipped for everything to your door. My shop is right next to a ups hub, so I can get stuff out the same day typically.

I prefer PayPal as friend and family however a check works too.

Labradar with accessories-$675
RRS tripod and ball head-$1475

Can text me at 815-878-8255, which will be the quickest way to get a response. Thanks

Before I ruin this nice brass how are the cool kids resizing?

I've been reloading for a long time and always did it the old school way with just simple Lee dies.

I just bought 300 pieces of 308 lapua brass, filled them up and shot them at my first real PRS match. Had a great time and I think I'm hooked.

Should I just use my regular FL sizing die, seat a new bullet and go or is there some new sizing die and neck tool or something I don't know about?

Thanks everyone!

"L" cans on 22"+barrels

I'm looking at adding the Dilligent Enticer Ti to my collection, but hung up on whether to go with the S or L version.

This would be for my bolt guns only, with either 22" or 24" proof CF barrels. 24" rifle is a 6.5 PRC dedicated big game hunting gun, 22" is my regularly used 6.5 creed for steel and varmints (50/50). Weight is not a concern (only 1 oz diff), my hang-up is the length. I understand I'm trading suppression for length. For reference, I already have a Rex MG7k can and an Omega 300. Plan to put the rex on my AR's and use the omega for truck/farm gun, as I like it the least.

Anyone have experience with "L" cans on your longer rifles? Pain in the ass?

Vietnam M40 Build

I have been debating both where and if I should even post this. I figured: what the heck, what's the worst that can happen?

I wanted to share with you all my first-ever rifle build. I am a huge fan of the Vietnam War era, and have loved Marine Scout Snipers since I saw the Discovery Channel's "Surviving the Cut" episode on them. I also love precision shooting, and decided to build my own precision rifle, modelled after the USMC Scout Sniper's rifles of the mid-to late Vietnam War: The M40.

I took a standard, off-the-shelf Remington 700 in .308, and researched the parts endlessly. I know many will be upset that I did not use a period correct receiver or bolt, but I was on a very tight budget, and extremely proud of the end result! Pictured below is what I started with, some of the "in between" project moments, and the end results with 3 shot group taken at 100yd. I hope you enjoy them even a fraction of how much I enjoy it!
