Picked up a used NF ATACR last week and was kind of blown away by how much of the inside of the scope I could see while looking through the optic. Is this a common thing with these? I’ve owned quite a few nice optics and don’t think I’ve ever seen one where there was this much “tunnel vision.”

Utah Air Rifles Sent Chris the FX Panthera for us to try and work with, Precision air rifles has some much potential, but dang I was not expecting this level of accuracy.



So first time out with the Panthera, and Chris stacks 7 shots into this 3/4" dot at 100 yards, this is incredible accuracy,


So .6" at 100 yards, and we have wind on our range, so definitely impressive. Learning this system the air, the gauges, the point you have to recharge, super cool



Lot of potential here

I can’t fit 2 quarters in the gap when the bcg is fully seated in the buffer tube with the spring and buffer installed I have a proprietary stock (q shorty stock) I can only fit a quarter and what looks to be another half. When I put a quarter in the buffer with a spring and buffer installed I can fit 2 quarters is this a viable solution? I have shot 500-600 rounds with 0 wear on the buffer tube or receiver (no quarter installed during this time) thoughts?

Just installed my V4 kit so selling the V3. Only pic I have is of the IP powder meter. I boxed the rest up in the packaging the new stuff came in. Good afternoon Gentlemen,

I was considering building my first Custom Bolt Action rifle. I am going for 6.5CM for distance, continuity, and hunting. I wouldnt mind getting into competition PRS style shooting, but I don't want to build based on that since I have never done it before. I am pretty definite on having a Steel Proof barrel since they offer my specific unit a pretty hefty discount, and I know they make very high quality barrels. I was watching some stuff about the new ARC CDG and it looks awesome, and appears from a very ignorant perspective, better than the Zermatt Origin. However the only prefit barrel I can find for the ARC CDG is the Straight Jacket Armory for $800, which wipes away any sort of savings from the action.

I know that the CDG seems to offer incredible value, but which action would you say is superior, the Zermatt Origin, or ARC CDG?

The Zermatt Origin may be had used where as the CDG will likely not be able to. Do actions get worn over time? Would you all be hesitant to buy a used action? Or is it one of those things that are good for tens of thousands of rounds and would buy with confidence?

Option 1) ARC Coup De Grace + prefit Straight Jacket Armory Barrel = $1,700

Option 2) Zermatt Origin Action + prefit Proof SS. Barrel = $1,300-1,450

And finally, with those prices in mind, what route would you personally choose or recommend?

Update: In a turn of events, I think I am going to go with the Impact 737r. I don't think I have heard a bad thing about them yet, and can get that and a Proof barrel for about $1,450.

Since my dreams of building a Badger M2013 SA on a whiskey 3 chassis were shattered due to availability and KRG not making the whiskey 3 for m2013 SA's anymore, I decided to buy a KRG Sotic. Unfortunately for me, they are STILL out of stock. What gives? am I just doomed to not have nice things or do I just need to be more patient?

I currently have a Deviant Tactical 338NM being barreled and chambered.

I'm considering a KRG Whiskey 3 with foldable stock for the chassis but I’m not sure if it will be rigid enough for long shoots.

It is also going to be a field gun. Any other recommendations I should be looking at?

My buddy is recommending the MDT ESS or ACC Premier. Kinda wish that Cadex Lite Strike could fit but alas it doesn't work with the Deviant.

Any thoughts or experiences good or bad?

Okay, I am getting ready to start filming a new host of video, mainly revamping the lessons, as well as making some other videos that will be put out here and there.

Tastes have changed, I don't see my videos the same way did in the past and want to adjust the style moving forward. It seems people are digesting in a different way. Definitely shorter videos, which I think I do a pretty good job of getting to the point, but the videos are light vs 10 years ago.

We get it, precision rifle is a bit slower in style, and our lessons could be looked as dry, it's Problem A, you suck, Answer watch what we do, now go try it yourself. That might have worked in the past, but things have changed and I need to adapt

What style of video gets your attention, what information are you looking to answer and what format do you feel would be worthy of watching ?

Give me an example, a style you like, or some suggestions (within reason) remember I am not Spielberg with a team of artists to make anything possible. It's usually me, a max of 2 cameras and the want to edit this stuff up in about 4 hours not 4 days.

My styles are pretty ingrained but I can adjust, as an example this is kinda recent, though discount the light audio as I have made changes to that part already, I had to change some RODE Mics that broke unexpectedly on me.

My friends and I tried to hit a soda can with .22lr. The winds were terrible. We setup the can so the wind would be coming directly at us rather than across. Up to 14 mph head winds.

Kythe was shooting Cutting Edge out of his Vudoo but then ran out and shot SK Long Range.

Kevin shot Wolf Match Target out of his Vudoo.

Both were consistently within 2mils of the can. Finally Kevin got the hit as they shot almost at the same time. Blue is the can. Red is Kythe’s miss just before Kevin hits the can.

For those who are confused, we all agree this was luck and not skill.
