As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump was nearly assassinated Saturday night during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, by a 20-year-old Democrat donor named Thomas Matthew Crooks.
Subsequent reports have revealed the numerous avoidable failures by the Secret Service to protect Trump and take out the gunman. Humiliating footage of petite females struggling to cover the 45th president and escort him out of harm’s way has also emerged.
Blame for this horrifying moment in American history has rightfully focused on DEI-loving Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle, who has refused to resign. Reports have revealed that instead of hiring the best possible agents, Cheatle has focused on ensuring more non-white and female agents regardless of qualifications.
In fact, her agency has set a goal of ensuring the Secret Service is 30% female by 2030, despite the fact women biologically are generally smaller and weaker than males.
This begs the question of why such a politically correct person was heading the Secret Service. According to the New York Post, all fingers point to Joe Biden’s wife Jill. It turns out she had a close relationship with Cheatle, which helped her land the job.
The Post notes that Cheatle, who served on Jill’s security detail, was well-liked by the “First Lady” and her staff, including top advisor Anthony Bernal.
The outlet further reveals Berna lobbied extensively for Cheatle to become Secret Service Director presumably at his boss’s behest. More infuriatingly, Anthony had no experience in law enforcement or experience so he should have been ignored.
Yet he and Jill got their way to the detriment of Trump.

This report also provides a plausible explanation for why resources were reportedly diverted from Trump’s rally to Dr. Jill’s poorly attended campaign event in Pittsburgh. When someone owes their job to another, favors are sometimes sought in return.

I'm fighting through a bit of 90's nostalgia this week but thought that perhaps one of the outlets I'd been using to 'scratch that itch" may be of interest here.

Long story short- in the late 90's there was a show called "Magic Secrets Revealed" which featured the "masked magician". Essentially the premise of the show (you have to remember that this predated "reality tv" programming) was the producers of the show convinced a magician to "reveal trade secrets" but ONLY under the guise of remaining anonymous due to "fear" of being blacklisted.

That said- it's just a show that has the potential of ruining your childlike wanderlust and love of magic by showing how the tricks/illusions are performed but I don't recall a show of similar content existing before or since then.

Do with the below link as you will- either you're interested in "cracking" the secrets or you'd rather remain in ignorant bliss (and no judgement from me either way) but figured I"d at least share the link in case anyone else had an interest in this topic.

I have all the pieces to build a 33XC or a 338 LM on a BAT CT 1.47" action with a Manners ELR light stock with a 1.45" barrel blank, and I saw a BAT CT Cheytac bolt available for sale, and I was curious about the recoil of the 375CT... It would weigh about 26 pounds.

I have put 250 rounds through a 28 pound 416 Barrett (M99 24" barrel, hunter model) and the recoil isn't bad, and I have used it in a couple ELR matches. It's a slow twist so I used 416 grain bullets loaded by Thunder Ammo, and they were around 2900fps

I also shot around 700 rounds through an 20 pound 338LM, many with a Silencerco Hybrid 46, and that recoil is fine too. 300 grain Bergers going about 2860 fps.

I was curious if anyone can give me an idea of the 375 recoil, as I imagine it would be similar to my 416 Barret pusing 416 grain bullets at 2900fps, since I'd probably be shooting 375 cal Berger Hybrid or the 400 grain Cutting Edge.

Is the 375 CT recoil a fast kick like a hunting rifle? or a slower push like a 416 Barrett?

Or is it much better to go with a 1.75" or 1.6" adult Cheytac size receiver and build it out that way

I just looked up the weight of the Cadex Shadow in 375CT and looks like it's around 20 pounds, depending on barrel length, and some have said the recoil of that rifle is not bad at all.
